    Berlin

Heading to Berlin this weekend and taking in the Hertha V Dortmund game and could do with some advice on vegan eating establishments as half of our party of 6 are vegan.
Have been to Berlin several times in the past so generally know my way around, but not had to accommodate vegans before so any help would be appreciated.
Gutted I'll be missing the Hibs game though.

Can't recommend any in this list myself, but if you know your way around Berlin you can probably find somethig to suit - enjoy the game and your visit

Thanks, Google brings up vegan only ones okay, I'm looking for some that are suitable for meat eaters and vegan, ideally some that are recommended.

I am a regular on the Trip Advisor website.
So i had a wee peek at the Berlin Forums for you.
    Here you go....
Places on this link that may be suitable

    https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restau...23-Berlin.html

    Vegan options listed
Check left side column on the above page. (dietary restrictions)
Maybe PeeJay will know some of these places and advise (location.etc)

Download Happy Cow app onto your phone. It does cost £3.99 but it is worth every penny. unlike trip advisor which is terrible for stating non vegan restaurants as vegan this lists restaurants as fully vegan, vegetarian or conventional. It is an essential travel app for all vegans.

PS it is an app made by vegans for vegans so you get better information from it.

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

    Hi,

If you head to Friedrichshain there are many many restaurants that cater to Vegans. The best is Vegan 1990. My wife and I are not Vegan and we hed the meal of our lives in here and it was actually not expensive at all. There is also a Lebanese place called Fattoush that was out of this world.

Berlin is a great city. Enjoy the game.

No shortage of vegan places in Berlin, especially around Kreuzberg/Neukolln areas

If I was going to stereotype, that's where I'd be looking for my vegan food in Berlin. Lovely neighbourhoods but a bit too hipster for me.

I'd recommend going to Mustafa's Gemüse Kebap at Mehringdamm. Be prepared to queue for an hour as it is very popular (shows how good it is) but well worth it. A lot of people buy a bottle of beer to have while they wait.

I love this place. They have a variety of Arabian dishes on offer in a fast food type atmosphere. The Sesam plate with chicken is my guilty pleasure when I'm in the area. There's also a 100% vegan restaurant just around the corner.

Looks like you picked a good game for your visit.
