    Zizou

10 months after walking away from Real, citing a need for the club to evolve beyond him, he’s just been appointed as the manager of, erm, Real Madrid...

Been told he’s not getting the Utd job it looks like. Probably double the money wage rise too.

Played Real brilliantly. Left because he saw the mess of this season coming. Will probably now have free reign to sell and buy as he wants.

Very shrewd move. He knew the team was going to crumble post-Ronaldo so took himself out the ****storm. Now he is riding back to save them no doubt after naming his own price.

Bale only stayed because Zidane was going. There's no danger he will be in Spain next year. It wouldn't surprise me if he goes to Juventus.

Wouldn’t go near Sánchez if I was one of the big teams. Bale would be a great signing for any of the English sides though.

Agreed, he doesn't have the same pace anymore and sadly isn't anywhere near the player he was

Not sure about him wearing his daughter's jeans to the presser though

Can only be why he's done it. He must have been told he can't buy/sell but knew the team needed fresh blood so buggered off and has now been told he can spend whatever, move whomever.

I don't think he will get either. Naymar will be a cert though.

Hazard grew up a Madrid fan and Zidane was his hero. ZZ has already said he wants him. I would be amazed if he isn't there in the Summer. Mbappe would be a harder acquisition (and would be a new world record fee), but L'Équipe seem to think they've already made contact.

Would Chelsea sell with the transfer ban in place? I think they will keep him until January. If Madrid sign Mbappe I would be very surprised, never say never though.

    Hazard might force the move.

Neymar or Mbappe... I'd personally go for Mbappe, younger so more value there

    I agree with you.

Mbappe is the best in the world right now.

There's no limit to how good he can get. I can't believe he's only 20. Twenty.

So would I. Would Paris sell the French Goldenboy to anyone though? I can’t see it for any amount of money.

Perhaps. It’s the million $ question I suppose.

Over here last year you'd be forgiven if you thought his name was "Teenager Kylian Mbappe" as if they couldn't believe it.

Mind this is a country where you should be playing in front of millions every week at 19 and certainly not getting paid or winning the biggest trophy in the sport at 19

Hazard is a cert unless he renews. Contract up soon.

Summer of 2020 correct? It's pay him a fortune or he'll do an Aaron Ramsey time.

Ramsey is different, Arsenal withdrew an offer, they didn't want him on silly wages when he didn't fit the managers long term plan.

True however I do think we'll see more players start to run out their contracts in the future.

Dissapointing. Love Zizou, hate Real Madrid
