Do we reckon Dabrowski is going to make it? We may have to call on him sooner rather than later.
One of the mates follows the Development Squad/Reserves says he is decent

I can’t believe the majority of posters on this thread think Bogdan is better. It’s blatantly clear Marciano is a better keeper. The Defence has look far more comfortable with him in the sticks and he has won us points with some of his saves (that one at the end on Wednesday for example).

Bogdan for me. After a few games he showed his shot stopping to be every bit as good as Rocky. His distribution is fast and accurate. Rocky's is slow and very inaccurate. Just a pity we won't have him for too long.

Ofir is Probably the best shot stopper since Daniel Andersonn .

We wont be keeping Bogdan he will be on a very high wage. Heck playing Marciano makes sense

Both are excellent in their own ways so it's a good situation to be in at present.

It's not, that's only your opinion, others think differently. Anyway, while we're here I'm assuming Whitty is injured also? Had probably his best game all season at St M then disappeared.

Marciano when fit plays every week so he must be better according to the coaching staff

Hopefully Heck convinces him to find a new club. Whittaker is Finished

Bogdan held the gloves from the start of the season due to Rocky being injured/absent

Bogdan got injured so Rocky replaced him Hamilton away 8/12/18.Rocky played Celtic home (2-0) and The Rangers home 19/12/18 where he was replaced by Bogdan in the 14th minute due to injury

Bogdan played up until the Elgin game 18/1/19 where he got injured and was replaced by Rocky on the 79th minute and Rocky has held the gloves ever since

As others have said we are fortunate to have two excellent goalkeepers

I think it is too early for the new Management Team to form any opinion and will rely heavily on Alan Combe for the time being

My own opinion fwiw is Rocky is an excellent shot stopper but his kicking is woeful and gives possession away almost every time

Both Keepers have clangers in them but my slight preference is for Bogdan given the choice

I feel we will have to strengthen this position in the summer as unlikely we can afford to keep Bogdan or both and hopefully PH knows some decent available Keepers down south when the time comes

Hibs form always seems better with Marciano in goals

A thoughtful & well considered post. I had to check the poster name twice!

Both have different strengths Rocky better shot stopper Bogdan calmer and more steady controls box better also.

Or swap them both for Andy Goram.
    For both Andy Gorams?

Eh.... as per OP, is he injured?
    Taken from today's EEN.

Adam Bogdan remains sidelined after suffering a concussion in the Scottish Cup clash against Elgin in the third round of the cup, so Kevin Dabrowski will assume back-up goalkeeper duties with Ofir Marciano set to keep his spot in goal.

Wow a bit worrying that given how long ago that was. To be honest thought the Elgin player was out of order how reckless he was in that challenge.

This is how I feel. I have no strong preference for one or the other. It's a great situation to be in tbh, would love for it to continue next season and beyond.

    that covers it.
This is one thing we have been lucky with this season.
The injuries to both have occurred when the other has been available including at the moment.

    Nah Brog.
We have played 8 matches since the Elgin game and in 5 of those Dabrowski has been the GK on the bench.
There is obviously an ongoing issue with Bogdans injury.

There is no doubt that Marciano is the better shot stopper. He wins us points and that is inavaluable.

Bogdan's distrubtion is excellent and far superior to Ofir's but I don't get these level above comments.

Jim Leighton had the worst distribution (from foot) that I've seen in any keeper (not just Hibs).

    Just sayin' like...

Bogdan for me. He comes for crosses more, distribution is streets better and I don't think tehre is much in it in terms of shot stopping. Saying that Rocky has the gloves and we are winning so Bogdan will have to wait for his turn.
Agree in terms of kicking and crosses but Rocky for me is much better at shot stopping than Bogdan...and for now Rocky is ours and Bogdan probably won't be here next season...so it's Rocky for me but both excellent keepers at this level imo

Yes he didn't like balls to his feet that is true and the then new pass back rule where the goalie couldn't pick the ball up didn't suit him at all. Goalies in this era must be good with their feet in my opinion. There are plenty of clips on YouTube of keepers making a fool of themselves because of poor footwork. Bring back Hamish McAlpine a keeper who took penalties.

If Bodgan is priced out of our range or doesn't want to sign at the end of the season, then it's Rocky all day for me.

I think that’s the point. He’s been on the bench 3 times since the Elgin game but now we hear he still has concussion?
