Can someone tell me if he is injured again or just not getting on the bench?
Heard a lot of good things about him and was hoping for him to get some game time this season.

Highly thought of but feel like a bit of an enigma as never near to the first team to stake a claim. Manager is one who like to promote youth so hopefully will work for him

When I first saw him I thought he had a real chance.
Hard to see him getting much game time in the remainder of the season, unless we end up in the bottom six.
Turns 20 before the end of the season so the summer is make or break for him at Hibs IMO.

There has been plenty players who have been given long term contracts in their late teens and never went on to be regular first team players.
I think he has ability but he needs to be making an impact soon or someone from the next age group will be catching him up.

Hopefully not far away, a real chance of making it. Tidy player

Maybe somebody could take him on an emergency loan for a month or so.

Fraser will make it.
No question about it.
He is a great talent who has not enjoyed the best of luck with injury.
When he gets a starting place and a run of a few games he will push on.

It’s 18 months since he last kicked a ball for us in a league match and in that time he’s played only 20 minutes of first team football (sub against Elgin)
I don’t doubt he’s had some niggles and injuries to deal with but he’s been playing consistently for the 19’s/development squad and Scotland in that time so I don’t think they’ve been as big a factor as is being made out.
He’s clearly got something about him but I can’t help but feel it’s not going to happen for him here.

Think he will be the next Alex Harris and Sam Stanton, showed a brief glimpse of his potential but never progressed enough to make it at Hibs.

A first half hat trick today won't have done him any harm. A sustained run while scoring goals for the Devs/Res will see him in contention for a starting place in the first team and it will be up to him to take it. I believe he will be a fixture in the first team next season and will be an exciting player for Hibs.

Fraser Murray has made more appearances and scored more goals for Hibs than Derek Riordan had at the same age.

Stats eh?
I do take your point to be fair - it is possible that he’ll force his way into the team and become an important player but imo the fact that we need to go back almost 20 years to find our last ‘late bloomer’ only strengthens the argument that it’s unlikely to happen for him here.

Billy, where would you see Fraser's best position, an attacking mid or is he capable of playing across the pitch in any of the forward areas.

Good to see the lad back from injury, as an avid reader of the development game threads and from the odd bit of info picked up I've long had high hopes for Shaw, Gullan, Mackie, Murray and Porteous. Murray is in the right place now and hopefully gets his chance and grabs it.
