It's all good man.. Maybe just a bit of Lennon fatigue at my end.

Just watched his interview and he comes across really well, I'm looking forward to seeing his philosophies on the pitch.

I was a huge Neil Lennon fan but there comes a time when we have to move on. Welcome aboard Paul. I wish you well.

Good solid 20 minute interview and he talks quite well

Be interesting to see the changes he makes. When his name was first mentioned I thought he was a decent option - hopefully turns out to be right

Definitely comes across as someone who is determined to make it work

    That interview was impressive.

    I would recommend a watch.

    Reminds me of Tony Mowbray.

Really hope we find someone who drives standards throughout the club and continues the good previous work done.

Pleased with this appointment and the fact Stockdale is part of the team. Says all the right things in the interview so let's see how quickly the players can buy in to his vision.

The biggest failure this team have had in the past few months IMO is the lack of any organised pressing or general aggression. Whether that was just down to the squad being drained of confidence and desire, time will tell.

Interested to see what he can do with Slivka, Bigirimana, Omeonga, Mallan and Gauld. We're getting nowhere near enough from these guys at the moment - recognising 3 of them aren't long in the door.
Bartley and Milligan are a lost cause IMO.

Interesting background, doing a Masters etc. talks well in the interview.

Welcome and all the best really, let's see what he can do.

Dull interview. Reminds me a bit of Mowbray in that sense though.

Thought it was a good interview and he’s come across really well. Relieved to see on here (so far) that it’s a fairly positive response... Twitter reaction is a completely different story.

    Welcome Paul!

Welcome to Hibs, Paul! I see some small-minded Jambos have been at your Wikipedia page already

    Full name Paul Hibeseditbottom

Given his 'hilarious' sense of humour, wouldn't be surprised if it was Potter himself.
Its so funny the the way the sewer dwellers are slagging hibs about our new manager as a nobody
    time will tell but
    He ain't no laptop..
He ain't no beast... and i dont think he has been hiding in dens park bog for 90 mins
    so he has my support

Milligans been probably our best player last few games - certainly top 3 every game

Everyone should start with a clean slate. I imagine Saturdays team will be much of a muchness - its next weekend we may start to see some tweeks

I disagree on Milligan but do agree that everyone gets a clean slate. Hopefully a few players can surprise us all.

I think Milligan's recent performances have been overrated on here, personally. I didn't think he was any better than mixed against Aberdeen or Raith, certainly. Positionally he can be all over the place and he hasn't the pace to readjust.

Still, players and managers sometimes just 'click' so here's hoping. He knows Mallan so hopefully can inspire more from him too.

Strolled it against Raith and Celtic...looks much sharper since his Asia cup....his pass completion ratio must be top in our team...rarely gives the ball away

Neither you me nor anyone outside a very small group of people know the terms of Lennon’s severance with the club, so please let’s stop posting rumour as fact and drop it.

We have a new guy in the job. It’s time to move on.

Really liked his interview, honest, grounded and i think hard work is going to be a top priority for him. Interesting to hear him to say that he had a squad of about 20 at Barnsley, and after they had a bit of success, one year later, they only had 2 of that squad left, the rest having been sold on! Not easy to continue to be successful having so many players sold, 11 in the first window after they were promoted!

We’ll need to give him time. One thing I’ll love if he can get it into place is - aggressive pressing and being on the front foot.

Our pressing is far far too passive and it’s been like that for a long time. No point closing a man down and then standing 5 yards off him. Get in his face and get a foot in!

    Welcome Paul!

He was certainly strolling as his man ran away from him to score for Raith!

Anyway, welcome to the new gaffer
