Went to watch Connah’s Quay last week at home to Caernarfon Town (as you do). Although they won 6-2, I thought it was a pretty dire standard so I’m very surprised they’ve kept level in this one.
They actually started this match as slight favourites. Its been an interesting contest (now gone to penalties) Connahs are virtually full time, Edinburgh arent, Connahs have played in Europe, City clearly havent. Connahs very physical and direct, City at leat tried to play a bit of football. But what we did get tonight was 22 lads (and subs obviously) giving their all, it meant something to them, honest lads.

Wasn’t bothered who won until remembering Craig Thomson played for EC. Couldn’t help but smile when his penalty was saved.

Connahs Quay win on sudden death pens.

    Was a good contest.

Think Connahs might have their work cut out against Ross County in the final.

    Unlucky City tonight.

Fraser Murray scored 2 headers today, identical to Herrera’s header

It's been a good game to watch so far. Man United are like a different team freed from Mourinhos shackles.

Another fabulous goal. Pogba is like a completely different player now Mourinho is gone.

Not sure if the keeper could do better? Need to see it again didn't look like it was in the corner

Mourinho must be absolutes gutted, look what Solskjaer is doing with his team. Not only that but his mate Scholes is also winning games as a manager 😂

Someone should tell Levein, games moved on a bit from when he was a player, or the again maybe not
That lad they have Ikpeazu, really slows down everything they do

Had a feeling about United tonight but foolishly didn’t back them.

Ole has to get the job now as they’ve been transformed. They just want it more than Chelsea tonight and are devastating.
They can build on what he’s done already and get them up challenging the big top-four regulars, like Tottenham and Manchester City, on a regular basis.
They might even be ready for a title challenge one year.

What a difference a new manager can make - Utd look really exciting (domestically).

Thought Chelsea had a decent chance tonight, god they were poor. Sarri be emptied if City and Spurs beat them.

Shame I was looking forward to watching it. I'll have to make do with the Champions League then.
