Not wholly convinced about this Scotland team. I could be proved mightily wrong but Italy with a 23 point start - EVS.

    Mmmm...

I think we'll win fairly comfortably but even I would back Italy with a 23 point start!

Vitally important Scotland win with a bonus point today against Italy.

Number of injuries is my major concern. Depth is still strong but not the greatest.

i thought the italians would tire, instead it's us tiring, along with us taking our foot of the gas, i fear better teams attacking our defence

    3rd try conceded

7 straight wins against the italians

18 straight six nation defeats for the italians

We will mate. I think this will be one of the best tournaments in years. Can’t wait for Ireland v England! I think the English will win
England win made me a nice small fortune, also lumped on Italy +23 at evens. I had a chat with Gavin Hastings last week and he fancied England to win it. My bets are still heavily on Wales for the Grand Slam.

What's everyone's views on how today's game against Ireland will pan out.

It will be interesting to see how Scotland build on last week's victory and how Ireland respond to their defeat against the English.

Looking forward to it but worried about an Irish backlash. I was at Murrayfield last Saturday and thought Scotland played exciting rugby. We did cave in after the yellow though.

I think we'll struggle today, we could be out muscled up front but hopefully I'll be proved wrong. My prediction is 19-12 for the Irish.

i'm not sure about that would need to see it again, referee/linesman just missed the ball going out off of maitland now anyway, too many mistakes by the scots, hogg now off injured so he must have taken a sore one in the incident you mention

and now another simple try for ireland, not looking good

What is it with playing Loch Lomond every time there is a break in play?
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

and we finally **** it up

i wish laidlaw would play it faster instead of giving the irish defence time to get in position

Yep, replays show it should have been a penalty.
