It's a bit of both. But France are making some wonderful offloads and going through the phases, and Wales keep knocking on, so credit has to be given to France. Weather affects both teams equally.

looking like a game of two halves :) i seriously couldn't see the french keeping the first 40 performance levels going

and yes i know it's easy to say that now....but honestly

    another poor kick at goal

i wondered at the time why the french didn't go for the try in the first 40 instead of taking the easy 3 points, the extra 4 points(assuming converted) might have been pretty important come the end, we'll see

    16-17 now

French are architects of their own downfall here - dreadful, dreadful pass when you're ahead!

    19-24 Wales.

It hasn't been an advert for good rugby, but it's very entertaining!

    Silly stuff from the French!

The third time ever that a team leading 16-0 at half time has lost

Playing England and Ireland at home is a huge advanatage to Wales. Scotland and Italy will be comfortable wins

Absolute robbery. We have nothing to fear from either of these two teams. Well maybe not!

Just fancy them to do it mate. They have won 15 of the last 17 matches between each other. Halfpenny will be back and they won the recent autumn international 21-10

the doddie weir friendly game ? although wales did clobber scotland in the six nations game earlier last year, and in turn scotland clobbered wales in the six nations game the previous year...the gap is closing :)

Can't deny they're on a great run and they're a top team but not many teams come to Murrayfield these days and win comfortably. We'll see.

We will mate. I think this will be one of the best tournaments in years. Can’t wait for Ireland v England! I think the English will win

Having patiently waited for that game to turn so you could ram my word down my throat, I'm just going to have to patiently wait for them to lose a different game now.

FWIW I lumped on Wales when they were down, and was delighted to see them win as it made me a small fortune.

First half was very poor mate, I thought there was no coming back! Fairplay on you having the courage to back them when down! Looking forward to the next game 😉😆

Johnathan Davies is such a wee freak. Could barely contain his joy at the fullbacks misfortune.

Shockingly biased commentating, when France took a quick tap penalty with about 3 minutes to play, and the welsh in disarray, he just kept saying ‘oh no...oh no’ and sounding like he was in tears. Then, in the dying seconds of time, a bit of a rammy took place to which the main commentator said ‘this is eating up time for the french’, Davies replying ‘yes, keep it going keep it going’. He’s pathetic.

Im all for a bit of partisanship but he’s horrible

The other bbc commentators seem to rein it in. Even Brian Moore who as Scots I know we're all supposed to hate, actually manages to be objective.

Especially when in this case, Wales got 14 of their points through cataclysmic individual French errors, the glee was a bit sad. You'd think an ex pro would have some sympathy for the players involved.
