If Transfermarkt is to be believed, he's got 5 league yellow cards, and one League Cup yellow, at least this season, so wouldn't that mean he's not suspended?

Edit: I see no mention of his suspension on the weekly SFA list that's here - Ryan Porteous has an outstanding League Cup suspension, though:

That's what I use, only two players suspended for tomorrows games are Naismith and Menga.

Mallan ok.

Today's Evening News states he has 6 bookings but won't miss the Motherwell game. The reason being you have to get the six bookings within 18 games and Mallan played 21.

So he can play tomorrow night.

Surely 5 and he can't get a 6th until 18 games from his 2nd of the season has elapsed. A rolling 18 game period.

Got my numbers mixed up. I think it'll be a rolling 18 game period so he'll be on, presumably, 5. Then either pick up a 6th or drop to a 4th depending on how long he goes without a yellow (I'm not sure when he got his previous bookings).

That would seem the most logical system to me.

I have a strong feeling Omeonga will play.. I also don't think Lennon will change a defence that got a clean sheet, unless McGregor can't manage two games in 4 days anymore.

Still a bit confused by this. It certainly reads as if the suspension only kicks in if you have accumulated 6 bookings over a 19-game period, as opposed to bookings being wiped after the first 19 games of the season.

Mallan, however, picked up his first booking against Aberdeen in the third league game of the season. That means his 6 bookings came between the 3rd and 21st games of the season, a spell of 19 games. Therefore, I would still have thought he should be suspended for the Motherwell game. Happy that he doesn’t appear to be though
