Baffles me that any manager playing Jamie Maclaren as a lone striker is a good idea?

Full time
1-0 to Jordan.
Jordon fought like tigers to defend their lead, and Oz just didn’t have the nous to beat them.
Milligan played well, but methinks Jamie has played his last game for Oz...injuries permitting that is.

i think it was possibly more to do with Jordan defending en masse, it reminded me of a lot of our games in the championship

Although, before the game I did say to anyone who would listen that I just didn’t see where Oz’s goals would come from, and ran out of time to get a bet on the draw.
This isn’t a vintage Australian side by any means, and it has been weakened by injuries almost on a par with Hibs.
Having said that injuries are part and parcel of the game, and especially at international level, can’t be used as an excuse.
The result was not a total surprise to me.......recently Jordan only went down 1-2 to Croatia.
Another ‘dark horse’ could be Qatar, who have had a couple of close encounters with a couple of European countries recently.
I still think the Winners will come from Japan or South Korea, but Saudi Arabia and Iran cannot be discounted.
