    Milligan captains the Socceroos and MacLaren plays upfront in Australia’s opening Asian Cup game against Jordan in a few hours time.

    Don’t make the mistake of thinking Jordan are of a similar quality to Oman, they have had a few decent run outs recently.

    People have said on here he’s had a back injury for months. He did however go 6 or so games on the bench without getting off it. I’d be more inclined like you to think Lennon just didn’t pick him rather than to think he was on the bench for 6 games while incapable of coming on. He may have had a very slight niggle but I doubt it was an injury.
