Thanks for everything. One of the most accomplished defenders I have seen in a Hibs jersey.

Interesting to see that the club sayes he refused "an improved 3 year contract". Obviously giving out more information than normal in an attempt to silence the moaners.

Absolutely gutted. The best centre half I’ve seen at Hibs since Le God. All the best Efe, it’s been an absolute pleasure.

Gutted. Was a treat to watch him play for Hibs. He should be held up as the minimum level for a Hibernian player. Great on the ball, committed, winner. Thanks for the memories Efe. You will be missed big time

We knew it was coming and it’s still devastating news.

Very disappointed. Was my player of the year so far. Big loss, all the best to him wherever he goes next.

Gutted, one of the few Lennon successes in the transfer market and my favourite player.

    Three out.
    Hee haw in.

Given the remaining defenders we have, we can cope with that loss, as long as we get some creativity in midfield.

Disappointed, but we move on. Another test of N.L. and his scouting team to come up with someone to replace him, that's a big part of what management is about.

If we play a 4 we can just about cope. If we play a 3 then we can’t.

Massive loss. An already important transfer window has just got even bigger.

Interested to see where he goes. I wonder if this has been on the cards for a while, and if so, have the club got any sort of replacement in mind.

He did make a lot if mistakes that cost us goals though - it was his poor clearance that gave the ball to the Jambos that led to them scoring. While good going forward his final ball created few chances. No so sure if big loss.

He probably gave less goals away than mcgregor/Hanlon while being generally classy and decent going forward

Think we will now see how much of a player Efe was

He was an easy target for ridicule - even they he was pretty much fantastic for us - unlikely to see a better defender for many years

No..he didn’t make a lot of mistakes that cost goals...he’s been by far and away our best defender for most of his stint with us ....

See that is the type of crap that totally pisses me off. I followed Hibs all my days and i;m 63. Was hospitalised on that great day in 2016. So i missed out celebrating with my 3 Hibs mental kids. Take stock son before you accuse others of being "moaners"

Was surprised to see him sign on loan in the first place.

Especially surprised to see him sign a permanent deal.

This has been coming. He’s been a joy to watch, a real cult hero. Hope he gets a move to the EPL.

quality and total humble . Loved his goal celebration against Houstons pile of cheats

Great servant to Hibs and wish him all the best.

Worrying that (yet again) we've lost our best player in the window and our quality is diluted further. No chance of replacing him with similar.
