They have these in the club shop, or at least they did the last time I was in. It does have a purpleish colour in it, it's the horizontal stripe just above the Hibs badge. It's a bit darker than a lot of the purple on Hibs stuff but it's nice.

Do not get that one ^ from the Scotland Shop, it's about as scarfy as a hanky, and not worth the money.
Get the fluffy lambswool one from the Hibs website/shop.

This Savile Rogue brand keeps cropping up on my Facebook feed - nice looking scarves but eye watering prices..

I got one as a Christmas present, excellent scarf, as you say, well pricey but I think worth it.

Contact Jason Cummings...I threw mine to him on the bus parade in Leith Walk, think it was Sun 22/05/2016!!
It was my favourite scarf, had it for years. Sure Jason will still have it!!
I’m in my sixties, what came over me?

I got a “ HIBS tartan” lambs wool scarf from the Club Shop £25 for my Christmas and purple ( Tom Harts wife’s favourite colour) is conspicuous by its absence

The club used to sell a proper Hibs tartan scarf (similar to the one in the photos above) but I think there was some dispute with the copyright owners, leading to them bringing out some other crappy version.

Yup, think that's right, the producers retained the rights to the 'tartan' so Hibs couldn't use it. Damn shame, my wife has a Hibs cape in it.

This is of absolutely no help at all right now but are you talking about a scarf likely produced back when we last had the green and purple vertical stripped top? Quite a Long time back. Not to be confused with the official tartan scarf. I’m pretty sure one of them is sitting in my mums 7k miles from me so I can’t even check.

I bought the proper lambs wool one from the club shop about 10 years ago and lost it after the 2012 final, which to this day, hurts me more than the result itself.

As others have said, I bought the newest version a couple of years back and it's no where near as nice as the original.

It’s not the Hibs tartan one, it’s a cheap £5 scarf you used to get at Albion road . It has a check like tartan pattern with green and purple.

Seeing as somebody resurrected this thread....

I went to the club shop looking for replacement for a lost scarf and their range was just so, well, boring.

They should have a word with the guys that sell the unofficial scarves at Albion Place, cos their's at least have a bit of variety.

The scarf in my avatar was bought in 1964.

It may be purchased by readers of this forum for £10,000, an arm, a leg and a promise that the No 19 from Crewe Toll will one day run on bloody time.

No sure if it was you who posted similar on twitter but someone suggested McColls on Leith Walk or Easter Rd.

I've got one in mint condition, never been worn.
Tried to upload a picture but it failed, but it's definitely the one you're after.
PM me if you're still looking?

In my eyes HIBS green is always a darker close to bottle green not a light green which to me is more a Celtic strip colour Think the dark green of the 2016 cup winning strip or the Alex Cropley strip 1974-75 in the HIBS images through the years thread

    Just a personal preference

If you go onto that website you put up the Celtic retro scarf is exactly the same shade of green as the”HIBS retro scarf”

I had the Hibernian Supporters scarf that a poster put up on this thread from the early sixties that is the shade of green

To give an example I went to Darkheid and the vendors were trying to pass off their light green bar scarfs as HIBS and Celtic bar scarfs

As I said just personal preference from supporting HIBS for sixty years
