Nelom had a very poor game for me. Mavrias did ok but doesn't fill me with bags of confidence. More to come from him I think/hope.

Hyndman changed the game. Horgan also made a telling contribution.

For me:

Marciano - 7, did everything he needed to and nothing more. Solid.

Mavrias - 5, got forward well but didn’t offer much when he got there.

Porteous - 7, looked like our biggest goal threat until Shaw scored.

Ambrose - 8, the usual, not a foot wrong and some great mazys forward.

Stevenson - 6, not as his best today, seemed to be playing central midfield at times?

Boyle - 5, switched wings a few times which surprised me as he was doing better up against Sowah down the right. Hope he recovers from the injury, looked nasty.

Slivka - 8, average first half but a lot better in the second.

Mallan - 6, not up to that much, one good range effort and a free kick that nearly crept in.

Nelom - 6, when he took on his man and got a cross in he looked alright, apart from that a bit nothing.

Shaw - 8, not just for the finish (which was beautiful), but was getting into good areas all afternoon.

Kamberi - 6, really not his fault IMO, we keep trying to play it into his feet with his back to goal and he’s not that style of player. Had a couple of decent chances and linked up quite well with Shaw.

Horgan - 8, thought he looked very decent when he came on, think I’m right in saying it was his cross that found Shaw?

Hyndman - 9, waxed lyrical on another thread about him, but really was a game changer today.

Of the new guys Mavrias had a decent 1st half quite poor in 2nd half. For me Nelom was awful. Slow and ponderous on the ball and dreadful in the air
