Who is supposed to be commanding the players on the pitch throughout the game? Far too often we look lost and without a plan. I know it's Lennon's job to hand out pre-instructions to players before each half. But there needs to be someone pointing, signaling and dishing out orders on the pitch throughout the match and we don't really see any of that. Our attack consists of knocking the ball around until somebody makes a slack pass. No movement or urgency to get into gaps and create effective attacking options. I think once in the whole game I saw Milligan? give orders to Boyle, Shaw and Kamberi, this was just minutes before we scored our first goal from open play in several games.

Why is this not happening more often? Somebody needs to take command. Not just on occasion, but throughout the whole game, every game.
