One of the Argentina sports journalists has posted the following -
Boca midfielder Pablo Pérez reportedly with glass in his eye & talk of 3 other players needing to leave to go hospital after bus attack by River Plate fans on Boca Juniors bus.
Personally, I’d be shocked if this game is still going to go ahead.

There does come a point where an intense rivalry goes beyond the line. This is disgraceful.

I get the thinking behind backing River but, as a neutral, I now want Boca to win.
How would we all feel if we actually played for Boca? I'd be motivated beyond belief.

OFFICIAL: @FIFAcom (Infantino) has just told @TanoAngelici that if Boca do not play today, they will be disqualified. #Libertadores2018
That is absolutely outrageous! FIFA are a joke of an organisation!

I'm sure with pretty much every professional clubs backing..FIFA would be forced to reinstate them.
Or even award a victory.

(of course it shouldn't be required, BUT) Am I the only one who's amazed the Boca coach didn't have mesh over the windows or reinforced glass??
It was a certainty this kind of **** would happen.

There's a thread on Twitter of river plate fans fighting with the police, flares being attached to kids to sneak them in and all sorts. Seems complete carnage. If that happened in Scotland we would have players and officials going on strike all over the place.
