One of the Argentina sports journalists has posted the following -

Boca midfielder Pablo Pérez reportedly with glass in his eye & talk of 3 other players needing to leave to go hospital after bus attack by River Plate fans on Boca Juniors bus.

Personally, I’d be shocked if this game is still going to go ahead.

That’s absolutely farcical! Although a good time to bet on River Plate Shirley. Boca should walk (protected) out the stadium. At least I’ll know for sure who I want to win and it won’t be the **** in the home support.

I get the thinking behind backing River but, as a neutral, I now want Boca to win.

How would we all feel if we actually played for Boca? I'd be motivated beyond belief.

Yeah very conflicted here, want to put money on River as they feel like a certainty but at the same time I'd love to see a heroic Boca win now

Yeah the away fans are banned from attending this fixture. Hence how there was no River fans in the 1st leg

There's a thread on Twitter of river plate fans fighting with the police, flares being attached to kids to sneak them in and all sorts. Seems complete carnage. If that happened in Scotland we would have players and officials going on strike all over the place.
