Either of Jim O'Rourke's in the 4-0 win back in 1965 (I think). We were four up in the first twenty minutes. Cruiky was diving in vain all over the place!

Interesting thread. After much thought, I’ll go for Andy Ritchie for Morton in April 1979.
I was at the game through chance, but I so enjoyed they’re relegation. 😄

Despite being remembered as one of the greatest Hibs goalies ever, Goram was all over the place with cross balls!

Yes you are right, although Goram was always a great shot stopper, he was always susceptible to crosses. After going to the huns he had a better defence but every now and then his old vulnerabilities would resurface now and then.

The context is more important than the quality quite often. Hanlon's goal comes top for me, then Geebsie's to bust a long run and then Joe McBride's second to gain a very unlikely draw.

By far and away the most important was Hanlon’s equaliser ( great but no one realised the significance at the time). For me, nothing matches Archie’s winner. Hibs played for days with 10 men then Archie stole the show with an amazing strike. It was utter bedlam behind the goals. Only feeling to surpass that was served up by Sir David of Gray on a special afternoon in May,

Would take Andy Goram as a goalkeeper in his prime in a heartbeat
I don’t remember him having a problem with crosses in his time at HIBS brilliant shot stopper brave and small for a goalkeeper but always got his angles spot on.
He was worth at least 12 points a season
Known as “The Goalie” some of our goalies over the past thirty years have a cheek calling themselves that.

The moment when Ross Caldwell’s goal hit the back of the net was insane. Got to be up there

Dean Shiels winner was the best for me.
Hanlon's equaliser turned out to be the most significant but we didn't know that at the time and I can't really vote for a goal in a game where we drew over a game where we won.

Cropley's volley 1.1.73 was the one everyone tried to emulate in the park kickabout.
