Albeit a friendly, England doing very well with what is mostly a second XI against a US side who are ranked in the top 24.
I'm sorry for those of an ABE persuasion but Southgate seems to have a young, skilful and pretty fearless squad with a bit of depth to it. All things being equal, they will be competing at the business end of the next few major tournaments and it looks deservedly so. Jadon Sancho looks like he could be a real, real talent.
For USA, Christian Pulisic also looks very talented and at 20 has a potentially big career ahead of him. Rumours in today's press that some of the English top six are very interested in him.

Makes you feel a bit better about Scotland when you watch Ireland for 90 minutes. They are actually terrible. If that's the best players their country has got they are in serious bother.

A goalless draw or defeat for Croatia will see them relegated. A score draw will see England relegated.Last edited by theonlywayisup; 15-11-2018 at 08:55 PM.

Sensational match in Zagreb. Spain play such good football, but Croatia had so much heart and passion.
4.3 million population, quite amazing.

Great perseverance by Croatia and from a small country of 4.1 million (Scotland 5.4 million).

Beautiful country, can't wait for my holiday there next year again. We arrived in Dubrovnik this year on the morning of the World Cup Final, it was the most unforgettable day, despite the defeat.

Holland well worth the win. Switched over to see Neymar make it Brazil 1-0 Uruguay from the penalty spot.
