Dick Campbell let it slip at the weekend Hibs are at Arbroath pre season, no date yet...

Not a bad train journey up there. Would have hoped for a more fascinating away fixture mind you.

You ever been to Arbroath? A game where you have to take a toothbrush and change of pants would be much better

You could do that at Arbroath too mind you.

Last time I was there we got a draw in the cup. I brushed my teeth that night.
They beat us at Easter Road in the replay though and we all needed a change of pants immediately as Turnbull, what was left of his Tornadoes, and Tom Hart were all rounded on at the back of the stand. Inglorious years.

Add Berwick and Dunfermline to that no doubt

Depending on the times of the tides I might be able to get some fishing in before or after the game - result!

I missed the first game but was at the replay. The start of the great demise. I mind the round before we beat Partick with Roughie and Alan Hansen in the team shortly before he moved to Liverpool

Game will be on the undertaken that we don't end up in Arbroath's section in the North League cup draw. So that means we qualify for Europe

We're going to fail to qualify for Europe, draw them in the group stage and play them at home again, aren't we.

I was meanings more in terms of no game at Gayfield and another tie at ER. Since I started watching Hibs we've had Arbroath three times at home in the cups and no away game.

That’s true, I was gutted when we were drawn at home last time out still travel down as I’m a ST holder but the novelty of only taking 5 mins to get home is a winner for me
