Since McInnes took over they've been to 4 finals in 5 years. They hadn't been in any final in 13 years prior to him being there. Say what you want about him and their style of football but he's been a revelation at the sheep.

He has had alot of investment,2nd most in SPL. For majority of the time.
His team have a tendancy to bottle it in big games however.

I find McInnes the most irritating manager ever. He endlessly quotes his record at every opportunity available. "We've been to x number of semis...x number of finals...Blah Blah Blah." Someone should remind him it's winning trophies that matter not being perpetual runner-ups! (ok one league cup) It does my head in that his game plan of "parking the bus" and playing for penalties or trying to nick something from a set play seems to work.
