I was there, no idea how it was only 6. Niemi had an exceptional game, and they said he was finished

Happened to come across this on YouTube the other day... some of the attacking play was breathtaking. Also noticed there was a pitiful hearts away attendence that night, anyone know why that was?

Something to do with ticket prices I think but the real reason was they knew they were gonna get hammered

Did Niemi have that good a game that night? I can't really remember many saves made that shouldn't have been fairly routine, and he could've kept a couple of the six out as well.

Don’t know why Mixu had a goal disallowed at 0-1 as well.

I thought so at the time, so did the hootsman, for what it's worth.

I was at my granda's watching it, he had some boy over about Windows, turned out the boy was a Jambo, confessed when hearts went a goal up..he left shortly after, no windows purchased, think he was willing to blow the lead out himself to save him watching!

Grant Murray was in the Hearts squad that day. I reminded him of it a few weeks ago😄

This is one of the games that reminds me what a pessimist I am when Hibs are involved. Watching the game again we are absolutely magnificent and it could, and should, have been more but I vividly remember being sat in the old West stand that night and thinking right to the end that they could get back into it.

I was the same at Ibrox for the Scottish cup game we won 3-0, I can remember watching the last 10 minutes through my hands, counting down the seconds to the final whistle, absolutely sure they would get three quick goals.

    Mental.

When I look back at the time it felt like it was a 40 minute Killie onslaught between when they scored and we got the 4th but it was only 8 minutes

Why have we filled our coaching staff with losers that were involved in two of the biggest winning score lines in our history
