If these are of the unrestricted view variety, I predict a riot!

I hope anyone that's been allocated a restricted view seat is pragmatic enough to not make this an issue for the club, who have clearly been trying to make the best of a bad situation.

Too late, already started on the other thread. Was an absolute certainty.

Tell them to ram it. They can have 200 when they come here, sick of the smelly barstewards.

This seems rather odd to be given a further 200. Have Celtic cottoned on to the fact that there has been a spurt in home end sales in the section next to ours and have increased our designated area to avoid any potential trouble?

Suspect you are on to something. Also, from looking at section 119 this has been blanked out on thier website. We had that last season . I wonder if thatís the tickets they have sent over,

Celtic have probably done this to hack hibs off over McGinn. In effect we have now got her normal allocation.

    I can't understand why Celtic's done that.

There was never any doubt about us selling out our initial allocation so if they had always had these spare 200 tickets available to give us then why not give us them at the outset?

Think they could be trying to be smart due to us not selling our allocation at last years semi?

I've only been to Celtic Park once - the League Cup Final against Rangers and was down near the front.

How bad is the restricted view? Anyone got pictures of it?

It ranges from barely noticeable to very bad.

It all depends on where your seat is in relation to the pillar.

If youíre unlucky enough to be behind one of the pillars huge sections of the pitch could be missing from your view.

Itís one great big pillar holding up the roof of their old main stand. Last time I was there I could see both goals but the nearer penalty box was obscured from 6 yard line to past penalty spot, which is kind of key!

You would miss all Stevie Mallans free kicks and goals.

Last time I was there I was slightly to the right of this position. Effectively blocking my view from the edge of the box to the half way line

*I wasn't involved in the ticket scramble today.....

If youíre to the left of that it obscures your whole view of the goal

Any word on when these are going on sale yet?

  25. #24
I think they'll announce it tomorrow as Monday at 12 midday. I'm hoping they will arrange a ballot as that would be the fairest way.

200 has jumped to 375. At least we're getting more.

Celtic have home tickets for sale in section 119 on there site.

I see hibs have a further 375 going on sale tomororw.

Do celtic normally have home fans in section 119?

As it allows you to buy ticket for the same section and row that i have in the hibs end.

A good few of the 375 appear to be full view tickets as well.

Not according to the official site which states....Ē375 additional tickets were received in total, which are predominantly restricted view with a small number of full view tickets.Ē

Regarding the restricted view, maybe the club have adopted a similar arrangement to Alton Towers where if you have the fast track tickets to jump the queue you donít get to sit in the front of the rollercoaster, with the best seats being kept for those who had to queue for an hour
