Just a wee report on today’s game

Hibs played 352, Dabrowski in goal and Donaldson and Yates playing the wingback roles, 3 central defenders in Stirling, Waugh and Mackie. Mackie looked like the one chosen to get forward

3 midfielder in Andrew Blake, Fraser Murray and Innes Murray. Innes and Fraser given licence to get forward
2 up front with Gullan and Lewis up top

Partick has a mixture of young players and a few 1st team squad members

This scoreline didn’t flatter Hibs, and with a bit more luck would have scored double figures
3 each from Lewis and Fraser and a single from Sean and Jamie

Kevin had a couple of good saves, but apart from their 2 goals he had little to do

Neil Lennon in attendance as usual, so always great for the young lads to perform, and also in front of our manager

We’ve one more league cup game, away v a Killie next month. Was mentioned at the game that the group winners qualify, and 3 best runners also go through. So a win at Killie could be enough to get through to the knock out stages

No game for 3 weeks now

Fraser Murray is a player I would love to see more in the first team. How likely is that Billy?

One thing I don’t like to do is single out individual players at Development level
Fraser is a player with undoubted potential whom I really like, and there’s quite a few more as well in this team!
His hat trick today would have given him great confidence, and in front of our Manager as well

Problem he will have is that we've a lot of good players to fit in to the midfield currently. He's really going to need to prove he's got something special to get a game unless it's the odd ten mins at the end of a match, which is rarely enough time to make an impression.

There’s a Reserve League and a reserve league cup
In the Cup were in a 4 team group with a Partick, Hearts and a Killie
We’ve played 1st two, and will play Killie in November away

Thanks for that, I am obviously not up to speed with all the current ins & outs.
