    Team vs Sheep?

    Bogdan

    Gray
    Ambrose
    Hanlon
    Stevenson

    Milligan

    Boyle
    Mallan
    Horgan

    Macca
    Kamberi

FWIW, I don’t think Agyepong will start, hence why not in my starting XI.

Same team that started the weekend. Consistency is the key to success😎

I'm not sure if Gray will be fit after his knock yesterday. I also don't know if Maclaren will be fit.

If they are then that will be the team.

Same team that started yesterday for me.

The second half was as good as we’ve played for a while. Even though Whittaker came on and did well I hope Gray is fit - we need a bit dig against Aberdeen.

Not that I care for your comment.

Reason I went with that team is to give some game time to a few players that may need it and imo are more than capable of getting a win.

Kamberi and Hanlon are just back from injuries I would rather keep them for 3 points on Saturday.

Whittaker at RB is asking for trouble.

It’s a quarter final so it’s not about getting players game time. It’s about winning the game.

We are three wins from a trophy and we don’t win them very often

Strongest team. To even think about approaching the game in any other way is madness.

Difficult one again. Part of wants to keep the continuity in the team and shape, but then would also like to see some of the fringe players get some game time. Maybe a chance to give the likes of Mcgregor and Shaw and Bartley some game time. Maybe even Nelom could feature.
But it's a great chance to get back to Hampden and a semi final in a competition we have a chance in.
Can't wait for this one, and confident whatever the team will be that we can get a win.

    I get it.

Still think the team I chose is more than capable of beating Aberdeen. Just my opinion though.

I suspect the poster you're replying to was making the point that we should choose our best team rather than a team we think is capable of beating them.
Kamberi and Ambrose are better players than Shaw and Porteous (both of whom I like incidentally).

Given that Saturday's game is against the lowly St Mirren, who aren't on great form at the moment (modulo drawing vs Celtic and beating, ahem, Neil McCann's Dundee), and the fact that the game is less of a 'must win' than a cup Quarter final, wouldn't that be the better forum for letting injury-returnees and new/reserve players get some match time?

He's suggested a team full of 1st team players. Slight overreaction.

Not sure why you are getting taken to task for this post. I wouldn’t want some random punter on hibs.net being in charge either, especially if think starting Oli Shaw as a lone striker against Aberdeen is a good idea.

Shaw is not a loan striker, he is on a permanent contract.

Same as team v Dundee with Agyepong coming on to harass a tired defense.

I doubt Whittaker would be risked at full back against Aberdeen’s wingers. I hope not anyway.

You want to play a 60 year old at RB?
