Kamberi or MacLaren - Top Scorer ?

Who do y'all think will finish our top scorer this season.

The main contenders obviously Flo and Jamie , Mallan and Shaw are also in with a shout .

I say Flo because barring injuries will play every game and also seems to be the man for penalties. If he stays fit i reckon 20+

Good question. Kamberi has got a bit of a head start - if both stay fit still fancy McLaren to get most league goals

Yup , Kamberi for me too but would like them share it with 30 goals each 😜

If they both get fit and firing they'll score plenty together. Kamberi will score more though because if we're playing one forward it will be him. Shaw will get double figures too.

Kamberi will score more goals. On the other hand I can see McLaren drawing a lot of fouls in and out of the box that lead to goals.

I think fitness could be the key. I'm a bit concerned by the niggly injuries both have had at the start of the season. I hope it's just a phase.

I put a wee pre-season bet on for Hibs to finish above Hearts and for Kamberi to get 20+ goals. It wasn't looking great a few weeks ago but now it's looking up a bit.

Yesterday was the best I've seen Kamberi play without McLaren.

    Kamberi penalty taker?

Kamberi as he’ll pretty much always play when fit. MacLaren could find himself in and out.

Once the players got to grips with the shape yesterday it really clicked.

Kamberi and fairly easily for me.

No doubt about it, Maclaren is pish at penalties while Flo's have all been ace (apart from Vs runavik)

Tbh they both always seem to go for the bottom corner , easiest for the keeper to save . Id like to see a Mallan penalty .. he'd rocket them straight into the top corner , no chance for the keeper

Yeah that should be enough to edge Kamberi ahead. We have some great attacking options this year and some very tricky forward players so should he seeing our fairly share of pens. That'll net Kamberi an extra 5-6 goals a season

Kamberi is the more consistent goalscorer.

Kamberi's penalty against Rangers last year was put straight into the top corner, perfect.

Aiming for the top corners is riskier, you have to be able to mix it up. Flo's penalty against Killie last week was brilliant. Low, hard and accurate, the keeper dived the right way but didn't have a chance.

Mallan is a dead ball maestro, but Kamberi has looked like the most assured penalty taker we've had in a while IMO, and if it ain't broke...

Pretty sure Kamberi took over penalty duties after Maclaren missed up at Aberdeen
