He made a massive mistake leaving Hibs
His partner didn't settle in Scotland, that was the quoted reason he left. Perhaps his footballing career didn't flourish, but who knows if it was a mistake?

Sol Bamba... Still seems to be doing okay for cardiff...

maybe a bit old now but i still think Barry Lavety and Kris Brown would have been some pairing..

And then a few minutes later........

Zoubir would have flourished under someone like Lennon imo. Stubbs would have been good for him too if he played a more central attacking role rather than out wide. Was unfortunate to be at hibs when we had 2 poor managers.

I often wonder if he left because Stubbsy could not guarantee him an automatic starting berth as competition increased for places up top especially with the arrival of Anthony Stokes.

He was temperamental and there were definately some games where he did not fancy it.

One match against The Rangers springs to mind.

It looked to me at the time that he took the huff when he should have stayed at least until the end of the season and fought for his place.

That at the very least would have been the professional thing to do.

He was an enigma - his goals per game for HIBS was quite good - he scored a screamer against Raith Rovers on the way to the Holy Grail and who can forget his amazing solo effort against Aberdeen in the League Cup at Easter Road when he came off the bench.

It could be argued that Alan Stubbs made a massive mistake leaving HIBS but that is another story

King Dom you will be welcome back at Easter Road anytime.
