The fact the third best team in France is pissing all over Known Universe Champions Elect Man City, doesn't fit the 'PSG have no competition in Ligue1which is why they looked so clueless against Liverpool' narrative, so far at least.
I thought Liverpool were very good last night, and Lyon are playing very well tonight so far.

Why would any side not play Aguero, as without him and De bryune they look very ordinary?

The general consensus amongst the "experts" on BT Sport last night was that PSG may struggle at Champions League level because they are not tested enough in the French league.

24 hours later and one of PSG's main domestic rivals are beating the English champions 2-0 away from home.

boy that scores bayerns 2nd in benfica receives a lot of applause from the home fans as they loved him when he was on loan at them last season....imagine a few on here would go apoplectic if that happened at ER again...like the killie(i think it was) goal against us last season when a few hibs fans(myself included) dared to applaud a crackin goal against us

Valencia miss a 95th minute penalty (saved) 2-0 win for Juve. Pretty comfortable considering they played for an hour with 10 men.

And yet they serve Gambrinus at Viktoria for some inexplicable reason.

Good 2-2 draw. Plzen play neat, tidy football and well-deserved the 2-0 lead at the break. The CSKA coach clearly put a rocket under his guys and they came out and pulled one back quickly.

Plzen probably had had the best of play for most of the second but couldn’t convert and then succumbed to that universal problem of getting to the last ten and wanting to hold on for the win.

Cue the Russians throwing the kitchen sink (or kitchen samovar) at them and having two goals disallowed ( one for a foul, one for offside) before winning a penalty and duly converting to grab a draw.

The catering was very different from Hibs. Beer for barely more than a pound and a range of big, meaty things - quarter pounders, spicy sausages etc. It was just as busy as ER would be but the difference appeared to be simply more staff - somebody took the order and the money, folk behind them poured the pints or dished up the food. The staff themselves were just as young-looking as the staff at ER but clearly well-drilled and had a lot more space to work in, and that’s in a stadium barely more than half our size.

Just seen the Ronaldo sending off offence. An absolute travesty.
Yes, Ronaldo did touch the guys hair, ruffling it for definite and maybe, just maybe, slightly tugging it for a split second, but a red card???
I've seen far worse acts of violence perpetrated against John McGinn with not even a yellow brandished.

Now to the Europa League tonight:

    Villarreal V The Rangers
    Celtic v Rosenborg

I really hope sevco get a good auld doing tonight, if villarreal turn up i can see a 3-0 scoreline

Celtic V Rosenborg will no doubt be a snoozefest with a 2-0 Celtic win anticipated by myself

Be very interesting to see what the Red Bull scoreline will be tonight with Leipzig V Salzburg, both in Celtic's group. Stick on 1-1 !!!

The Rangers game should be enertaining tonight: Villarreal should hammer them. Will the Hun hoardes have the intelligence to remember UEFA has strict liability on sectarian songs? Rhetorical question, if ever there was one

Rosenburg will be a tough game for Celtc too.
