I heard he also turned down the parts of the next James Bond and Doctor Who and the opportunity to switch on next years Blackpool Illuminations to join Hearts.

Looks like an attacking full back, around 130 appearances for feyenoord including champions league last season against Man City etc, and 2 caps. Must have a bit about him and should be at his peak at 27. Let's hope he can defend too!

Sheffield Wednesday and Birmingham were linked with him in January. Celtic also wanted him last summer.

I wasn’t trying to say that we’ve never got a good player on a free
Simply how is he still available?

He was such a terrible midfielder he won MOM in the 2007 League cup final, where he played left midfield in front of Murphy.

We all love a good highlights package before signing an Eredivisie star

Found a small set of his highlights here:

Seems a solid enough player, good defensively and attacking. Not sure why he would be on a free though.

The point being is Lewis started out as a left sided midfielder and only really started at LB around the Fenlon/Butcher era, his natural position is left defensive midfield.
