George Craig interview ,confirmed he had Medical on Monday ,and confirmed he had signed No mention of Length of deal though .
Confirmed the Quality over Quantity line ,and was talking up the fact we had so many Internationslists on our books ,which has been by default not design . Said Lennon working with a first Team Squad of 20 plus ( can't remember exact figures ),that includes four Goslkeepers Shaw Porteous and Lewis Allan .But also singles out Fraser Murray , Hammer and one other Development Player ,who could also step into First Team Swuad if needed
Emphasised thier needs to be a clear pathway for youth to break into the Team ,and the young players need to see that to spur them on .
No mention of any other signings ,and made it clear the Guys here to give Lewis Competition for his place .
So be interesting to see if it's just a short term deal till end of Season or shorter

Looks like a quality signing. You don’t play as many games for one of Holland’s top clubs if you’re not a very good player and technically good.

I’m a wee bit greedy and would still like to see us bring in another striker with some physicality. But the squad now looks very good indeed.

I fully agree this has got to be the way forward and hopefully it may influence the choice of sought-after young players when they see Hibs as a club where they have a structured path to the first team if they're good enough.

Irritating as the yams' start to the season may be, I don't agree with simply signing a whole new squad when the last one didn't work.

Squad is looking good I still think too we are 1 short upfront but that's maybe being greedy. Hopefully our luck with injuries improves and we can get a settled formation and starting 11 over the coming months

Nope. His preferred position is left back but has played both right and left centre half positions.

My understanding is that while he can only play left back he is also capable of offering opinions in specialist areas including: cartography, animal husbandry and Brexit.

According to wiki he has 3 goals in 192 appearances. Roughly the same strike rate as Lewis (ie. a goal every couple of seasons).

Given the way we play he would probably be more than comfortable sitting on the left of a back three like Hanlon does as well as at left back.

Over the last few seasons we have been lucky with Lewis, dependable and avoided injuries and suspensions.

However towards the end of last season I thought he looked a wee bit jaded, he needs a rest occasionally as well but not really been possible.

A few weeks ago (can't remember what game), Neil Lennon said after the match that he'd wanted to rest Lewis but couldn't.
