I used to despise Tennents, well any lager really. Quite enjoy the odd pint the older I get. You should try unpasteurised Tennents. I had it at the Drygate brewery and it was superb.
If that's the stuff they've got in Malone's I think the Innis & Gunn tank beer they've got in Platform 5 is vastly superior.

    Working my way through these.

St Peterís Without - tastes like a porter

Heineken - very much like the real version and quite refreshing

Pistonhead Running Flat - big taste quite like the Bewdog Nanny State

There's a significant increase in the number of young folk who simply don't drink
There really is no hope for the future, is there?

Yeah, I don't understand the no/low alcohol beers. They don't taste great. I'd rather have a normal soft drink if I'm not drinking on a night out.
Im the same. Cant see the point but each to their own

I find myself getting sick of the sweetness of soft drinks after a couple, itís the main thing I dislike about driving to a night out. Iím much happier drinking a decent alcohol free beer.

Thereís also the point that when I am drinking alcoholic beers, a lot of the beers I drink nowadays are pretty strong, so itís good to have a lower strength one every few drinks so I donít end up smashed too easily.

I wouldn't drink them on a night out, but if you're driving and have done the kind of thing that it's quite nice to go for a beer after, then it still feels like you're able to without having to leave your car.

They're much better than they used to be.
