    Jason Cummings

Anyone seen the video of him smashing up his house going about Twitter?

    Strange behaviour

  2. #2
Too much alcohol with too few brain cells. Similar behaviour probably happened all across the country last night, he is a relatively famous footballer so it's 'news'.
PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

And whoever that did the same would be fannies too. Difference is he’s in the public eye and gets wages to match that responsibility. The laddie’s got problems.

the laddie needs help, i'm surprised the Daily Ranger titles him 'former ra*gers ace' and not former hibs ace

If what he is like down there, just imagine how much worse he would be up here, if he got his dream move to SEVCO and being on the wages he is now on. How much he would be in the spotlight through there, he would be getting wound up and set up everyday ...

Just watched the video (courtesy of The Mirror newspaper online) and Jason appears to be high on something.
His actions were deliberate and head-shakingly embarrassing as well as disturbing.
His so-called "mate" referred to him as "Cumdog" and was laughing at his crazy behaviour.
There is evidently something deeper within JC going on. Drugs and/or drink do not in themselves induce this type of behaviour.

As for one or two who appear to have excused his behaviour because he is a so-called "legend", I say his status is utterly irrelevant.
This is a professional footballer - a supposed role-model for youngsters.

I don’t think that is true at all about something “deeper” going on. Fine, there may well be, but I’ve seen plenty of stable people act like absolute morons when drunk. Your reactions to different situations are a lot more extreme; something that may have induced mild anger in a sober person can cause rage in someone who is pished. Similarly, I couldn’t count the amount of times I’ve been out and someone has become inconsolable over the most irrelevant thing, purely because of alcohol.

I don’t think he should be given a pass for acting like a moron, but the rest of our ex and current players should be held to the same standard.

    It's what's wrong with football!
A normal person would pay years of earnings to fix his mistake.

Somebody that can play in the third tier of football...probably fixes it in about 2 days wages.

The guy needs to ****ing grow up!

Might sound a bit extreme but what happens if the TV hits someone if it goes out window? Or the disturbance to neighbours?

What happens if he takes a shot, it flies out the stadium, cracks the screen of a car on the road which proceeds to veer off the road and crash into a wall?

Good point: Say that TV killed a passing baby in a pram, would the same posters defending JC's actions be so vocal and throw up the totally irrelevant and ridiculous "He's a Legend" argument then?

We don't even know where the window was in relation to the ground. It's possibly a ground floor home or flat and the window backs onto his private garden where nobody was.

Without actually knowing the full circumstances it's ridiculous to come out with statements like what happens if he killed a baby.

You’re probably right. We should start judging people on what could happen in the most bizarre circumstances ever, as opposed to basing our opinion on what actually happened.

JC, the potential baby killer, is no longer a club legend.

But it’s fine, his misdemeanours will be forgotten and his contribution to Hibs will be remembered. Oh, does that not apply to JC because he committed the cardinal sin of breaking his TV?

Getting a bit carried away now aren't we, ffs Boyle didn't get this much hassle and HE could have killed someone while drink driving.

That would have been a disaster - lets face it any baby that was out there drinking in it's pram at that time of night would potentially have been another CumDog in the making. A tragedy we would have all mourned

What Boyle was charged with was far worse and could genuinely endangered the lives of others.

Its daft , but at the end of the day it's his home and as long as he's not harming anyone else I don't really get all the outrage.

Yes but have you considered the babies that might’ve been killed?

    That’s it I’m out. 😂

    He’s still a ledge

The boy is absolutely harmless. He’s a bit daft but the stick he gets on here is not deserved IMO. Especially when people like Stokes, who literally ruined some boy’s life, gets a free pass apart some hilarious topical ‘Elvis’ jokes.

    JC is a legend.

In Hibs terms, he is a legend of the cup winning variety.

Can’t believe some folk would argue otherwise.
Without JC we wouldn’t have won that cup .

100%. The guy is a legend end of.

Personally, I don’t see the outrage here. It’s his flat and his belongings and if they aren’t I’m sure he’ll pay for them. If this was a rock star then it’d be a case of “that’s just what they do” and they aren’t any different from footballers....it’s not their job to be role models to other people’s children in every aspect of their lives.

I’ve said it before but anything is possible when it comes to Jason Cummings and this sort of craziness is to be expected. We should know.
It’s just so symptomatic of the society we live in that the MSM and half the twitter world are looking down and judging when they’ve probably done worse themselves. He’s hurt nobody.

Just remember that header, that penalty and the goals against Hearts. Legend.
