I was wondering the same. I've not been there in at least 10 years but was a regular haunt between the ages of 17 and 19.
My wee cousins go to it (from edinburgh) and they are in their early 20s - seems a bit weird to me.

Red Hot and C2 for me when I was 17-20.

Went to Eros/Elite a good few times when it first opened as well.

I do. Funny - I was only talking about that place yesterday when we were listening to Absolute Radio 70s.

Subway West End was my haunt for about 6 years solid. Then I became a dad at 24 and it abruptly stopped. Misspent youth.

The Birdscage at the Doo'cot, also was a disco next to the Willie Muir pub under the shops, and how could I forget the disco upstairs in the Gunner. Happy days.

Way back in the sixties, I remember the Gamp Cub ( the Ďiní place for mods) at Victoria Terrace - resident band was the Athenians. The Top Story Club above Burtonís in Leith Street with resident band, Butch and the Bandits, was a great Sunday night venue. The Claremont Hotel at Claremont Crescent was also a good gig on a Sunday night. By the way, someone asked for the name of the club above Watches of Switzerland on Princes Street. I think it was the International club.

Used to go to the Spiral in Constitution Street after Hibs midweek home games back in the late 70s. Good times!

The club on Princes Street above watches of Switzerland was The West End Club I think.
I preferred Annabelles or The Americano

Loved the West End Club on a Sunday night, and obviously Clouds. Christ it seems a lifetime ago.

Having never been in my life, I've been at Club Tropicana the past 3 Saturdays. Think it's a pretty good club, haven't got bored of it yet.

Some classics here. One I haven't seen mentioned was Toppos. I think it was originally in Grindlay Street and then moved to the High Street briefly. It had old style phones at the tables where you could phone other tables in the club. A favourite for 18th parties along with Sinatra's and Annabelle's. They were all open until 4.00a.m. in the morning all through the week as well. It was tough getting up for school if someone had a party midweek

My favourite was a club called, rearrange these letters, HSAG on a Thursday night at Espionage in the late 80's/early 90's. Brilliant music and a great atmosphere.

I'm actually the oldest swinger in town this Saturday as I'm going to Hot Dub Stein Machine at Gosford House Changed days as I've taken the Monday off to recover.
