Something not right behind the scenes there. A club that has not been without off field issues over the years.

Be interesting to hear what's behind this. He doesn't strike me as a quitter especially as he seems to be keen to get into management. Maybe a lower league team would be better for him to build up his confidence and management skills?

Very strange decision. Must be something going on behind the scenes.

If not then my money is on KM getting wind of the Livi board wanting Hopkin back.

Personally would be ok with him joining us as back up striker however not sure we could sign him come to think of it given he was player manager.

Get him in on a 1 year player/striker coach deal. See if it works out by the end of things. Sure he wouldn't be looking for much so its not like its too big a risk. Providing he is in no way a problem in the dressing room.

Very strange decision, we're in August ffs. Has he left the club altogether, or just stepped down as manager and is still registered as a player there? Can see him going to St Mirren if he's left Livi.

Would not be surprised if Lenny signed him. Great experience to help out with our forwards

Dunno if you're being sarcastic but he would be a terrific signing.

Doubt we'd go for him
Seems he wants to be a manager rather than a coach and I reckon Lennon is happy with having our 3 strikers + Boyle
