    It's getting to the point where just about every thread is turning into an argument... that thread actually has 2 running arguments if you count the one about colours

    Like it or not, it’s a flag with the names of guys that are sadly no longer with us. Don’t see my problem with it myself.

    It’s been around for many years now - who cares about the design - it’s a Hibs Flag - and that one is all the more poignant due to the names - we seem to have a new breed of flag police now

    Why does it bother you?

    As far as I’m aware the Union flag is Red, White and Blue, which this flag isn’t - the same way a tricolour that isn’t Red, White and Blue is no longer a French flag.

    I think I'm right in saying it was originally done to wind up Rangers, replacing their beloved red, white and blue with green and black.

    Several of the group were taken well before their time and the latest flag has their names on it, hence the Spirits in the Sky slogan.

    The green and black flag has been with us for several years, at least fifteen and probably more.

    I can't believe it's not been noticed long before now.

    My take on it, I think its great.

    Much longer, there's a photo of the players holding it up at full time after the Anderlecht game in Brussels, that was 1992, and it had been around long before that.
