Massive international experience and still considered good enough by the Aussies to play all three of their games in the world cup …. he also sounds like just the sort of tough tackling defensive midfielder we were all crying out for. He cant be bad in the air either if he has played so many games at centre half at the height of 5'10"

Welcome to the Hibees ya baaaastard, lets hope you turn out to be fair dinkum and not a bloody Galah or a drongo mate.

This guy looks exactly what we are looking for.

Watching the video he is a midfield tackler, who is composed on the ball and is a great passer. All this goes well with the 71 caps.

He has only just turned 33 and appears in good nick. I am delighted with this signing.

Well done the recruitment staff .

    Let the season begin.

Would probably rule out Kamara, shouldn’t rule out Mulumbu though IMO. Milligan sounds like a DM, as is Kamara, Mulumbu is more box to box.
He played all 3 games in defence at World Cup. Think Mulumbu wages are stumbling point.

Looks like he can certainly ping a ball. Expecting plenty of long cross field passes out to Agyepong and Boyle.

Hell of a throw in on him - Rory Delap style.

I think he is as a good a player as we could have signed.

He will help fill in the massive McGinn shaped hole in our side.

Good experience and can cover CB and DM.

Hopefully, can help bring on our young players, too.

Good luck. Hopefully still has bit of energy in his legs and can get about the park. Adding experience and aggression to the team.

This is the defensive midfielder we’ve needed to complete the squad. Let’s push on now Hibs!

Not a chance he will replace Mcginn and his energy. He is a holding player or centre half

    He's well thought of anyway.

We need an attacking midfielder and preferably another striker too I think.

Not sure about signing 33 year olds, especially on 2 year deals. Just have to hope he’s fitter than Whittaker.
Disappointed we are not going for Kamara.
Hope I’m wrong but this is not a signing that excites me.

Whittaker wouldn't have been playing at the World Cup if Scotland had qualified so I think we can assume he is.

Exciting signing and I know very little about him but you don't get 71 caps for nothing...sounds like exactly what we need at the moment too. His plus Tam finally getting his work permit it feels like a double signing

It's Whittaker's ability that concerns me, not his fitness.
