Solid. Plays well beyond his years, think we have a real talent here.

Looks like he's always been there which is a good sign - always good seeing youngsters make the grade.

He’s brilliant and very mature for his age, always come across very well and humble.

I think he's great! A monster of a boy. Huge future ahead of him, only going to get better and better

He was my MOTM, thought he was excellent tonight.
He’s going to be our next £4m player

He’s great. Reads the game well and is strong for his age. Great defender.
The only thing that he needs to work on which will come with experience is his distribution. Tends to belt it up the park at times when he could easily have found a man.
To be fair I would rather he did that if he isn’t comfortable trying to pick the pass but something to work on.

He made a couple of errors with diving in but I had him as my MOTM by a margin. Centre halves tend to improve greatly with experience and as they get more strength and Ryan is one of the best I have seen at his age. Will be a huge player for us in the years to come.

The number 27 he was up against was a good player so very impressive that Porteuos kept him quiet all game.

Not a perfect performance but a good one by a very talented 19 year old. He needs these games and the coaching that will come out of them to improve.
One question, was it a shot in the second half or s sclaffed pass to DG.

I thought he was very nervous, got caught out a few times, after his last ditch tackle when he gave the ball away second half. he settled down thankfully.

Ryan Porteous, for me, can now be considered a first team player who lacks only experience and games.
He could quite readily step in and go on a run of games, and in so doing keep out any of our current first choice defenders.
Ryan's breakthrough is a bonus for Neil Lennon - as it will be one less signing he doesn't have to make.

How well does he come across as well eh? That post match interview is different class. Great defender and just seems like a great laddie. Chuffed we have him tied down long term.

Ryan was class this evening. He's gonna be a great defender for Hibs. Big lad, well suited for the league. Good game tonight too son. Well done.

couple of mistakes and poor passes but he was up against a right handful, myself and those around me were quite surprised Molde subbed the guy as he was causing a few problems, maybe they thought Ryan had the better of him, well done Ryan Porteous

Was really good few mistakes but he’s young and should be allowed. Ambrose best Hibs player on the park

He backed up Sunday's performance with another superb display tonight.
The competition for the three CH spots is going to give us a very good defence.Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

With Darren McGregor probably approaching the end of his fine career it's good to have his successor in place without a transfer fee being needed.
