Open to everyone now - see new HSL post

75% full according to HSL. How many seats left would have been more useful I think

    Just booked for 2.

Got the bug after fantastic trip to Tripolis - not as much time to explore compared with Greece but will have whole afternoon and pre kick off evening in Molde. And don’t have any hotel costs this time compared with the three night we had at Manchester/Athens.

So its really £604 for non members as non members will be asked for a further £25 to go towards HSL on the plane, a bit cheeky imo.

Either way it's big money for a day trip. I admire all who go.

I flew to Napoli with Man city on a day trip run by Thomas Cook Sports and that was a Champions League match last year, flights, transfers to/from airport/pub/ground etc all in for £279, I think the fans are being robbed here with this one.

Flight departed MAN at 7am and flew back from NAP at 01:00.

Didn't realise you are one of the sky blue reprobates, HC. Disappointed, very disappointed. A horrible loyalist club. Been to a few Manchester derbies (United fan)) and been screamed at as a taig, Fenian etc.

Have to bow out. Cant justify spending another £600, this time on a day trip, after being in Greece. I just think the cost is too high, £400 would have been about right imo.

The game was November 1st not peak summer. Very different supply and demand for planes. The City v Napoli game also had a longer lead time and did not have to be arranged in a couple of days.

Flying Man to Naples is a hell of a lot easier and cheaper than a charter flight from edin to molde. you surely see that. Fans arent being robbed stop being such a drama queen.

Not at all cheeky imo. HSL were far too passive in the first 3 years since their launch. That was the consistent criticism. Their members wanted more from them and they’re responding to that.

Exactly, a lot of time and effort will have gone into making this charter possible in a very short space of time by what are essentially volunteers. The least non-members can do is make a small contribution to the organisation these volunteers are working for.

I know a number of non members heading out on this flight. I also know the time and effort these guys put in especially in helping a number of fund raising nights just after Tom Farmer took over and they have stood by the club for years.
I would hope the donation on the plane would be voluntary and we have a plane full of fellow Hibs fans and not members and non members.

I also found out that HIBS also stand for Home Interior Bloggers so i expect a critique of the plane interior on their return

Just a quick note I was speaking to an aircraft broker and he could get a 737-300 seats about 148 people and would be in the region of €650 per person for a day trip.

It is such a busy time of year next to no aircraft available at short notice and also various other elements to consider.

So the offer from HSL is good offer.

I will be there making my way from Dublin via Oslo for the game.

If they want to go they will pay it - not sure what the problem is, people get a plane to Norway, HSL get a few quid to help us with players

I think it is a great deal considering the short notice a very well done to all involved and really hope it goes ahead - I want to take up this offer but alas the bank balance says otherwise - gutted !!!
