I take it they re-measured the course and found it was a bit short, no room to put the straight 5F start back 6 yards and just left it. Can't find a specific mention of when.

What the hell is this Punchestown course? There are hills on the flat, then there are 'embankments' they have to run up and down. I've never seen anything like it. Is this unique to Irish racing?
