I'm not a racing buff mate and hardly ever bet to win. At least a chance to cut my losses if it gets a place.

Just to prove there is no such thing as a sure bet, I kept an eye on an Icelandic cup game last night.

Home team 40/1 and away team 1/40.

Away sidescore in first few minutes and go 1/80. Home side go to 75/1.

Well, home side go on to score twice and win 2-1 from 75/1. If anyone put a couple of quid down (wish I had!) they'll be sleeping off the hangover

Slightly higher for group 2 and group 1. In group races they all race off level weights, however fillies and mares will get an allowance against colts and 3 year olds will get an allowance against older horses. Group races are flat and Grade races are jumps
