Food in the Ground
For me, having a half time pie is a wee tradition, especially on cold days.
It would be good to get a better option at a decent price rather than the expensive crap we have to put up with at ER. I know people are saying “well if nobody buys it, they will have to change it” and to a certain extent I agree with that, but judging by the length of the queues every week, I can’t see a boycott any time soon. So it’s a bit of a catch-22 situation.

We could learn a lot from the food that was on offer at the game in the Faroe Islands last week, fish & chip van, cakes, etc.

The good old days of a pie and bovril -there was more meat in the bovril than the pie.

We should be looking to do a partnership with one of Leith’s Michelin Star chefs IMO. Tom Kitchin or Martin Wishart. The Hand Rolled Truffle and Ricotta Tortellini’s would fly off the shelves.

We used to have Masons pies for a while in the 90s. They were decent. Food at Easter Road has been poor for decades though. Doesnt need to be like that. Kilmarnock and Dunfermline both have good scran.
