Nah, in fact I've never even met her and didn't know her name until I saw Hibs ladies post.

In other news. 2 of the best players in the team are off to England following the others that left last season. Abi Harrison - leading goal scorer, and Rachel Mclaughlin (probably the best player in the league) are away. Thats 5 top players gone in 6 months. Tough to build the game in Scotland if they can't keep the better players.

There is an attraction about the professional game in England that we realistically cannot compete with and shouldn't bother trying.
We are a proven stepping stone to the promised land though, so if women are wanting to play the game professionally they know that they have as good a chance of doing it by joining us and knocking their pan in as they do joining anyone else.
It's all about self-awareness and knowing where you are in the food chain instead of wondering what the point is.
The days of Scottish clubs conquering the world are over. 2 top players getting their big move is good news and we should be happy for the players, same as we were for SJM.

Keeper Hannah Reid signed for Durham, Lucy Graham to Bristol City, Kirsty Smith and Lizzie Arnot to Man U during the summer break. Lisa Robertson signed for Durham after the Scottish Cup Final. Kinda slipped under the radar that one. And now Abi and Rachel away.
It’s going to be a very young team this season. Nonetheless I’m looking forward to the first game against Spartans on 10 February.

where has Abi and Rachel gone? I missed both?
I watch Utd ladies regular as it's a decent wee stadium and only 5 quid with my utd season ticket. Kirsty and Lizzy have done well. kirsty is a cracking player.
kitty forest of cup winning hibs physio fame is also the physio for utd ladies.

Both girls now confirmed by their new clubs.
Sad to lose them, but proof that any young footballer signing for Hibs Ladies can make the move to the professional game if they work hard.
On a personal note, Women’s football being a village, I’ll miss meeting them and their families at the games.
All the best to Abi and Rachel

The Hibs Ladies team of the past few years has been a joy to watch. Wingers and overlapping fullbacks. And goals galore.
They’re still the most attractive team for a young player looking to move on in the Women’s game. 7 of last season’s starting 11 have moved on to professional contracts.
Next season’s team will be younger, but will still be worth watching. Season tickets will be on sale soon.
First home game against Celtic on Sunday 17 February at Ainslie Park

Given the successes they have had should the Hibs Women’s team perhaps have their own dedicated forum page within Hibs.net?
Just a thought, might be no appetite for it. Something for the Admins to consider maybe?

Smally came on as a sub in the friendly against Spartans a week ago.
Great player, she will have a big part to play this season. And no problem with a babysitter while Boyle is out 😄
Great couple, support one another and their football.

I can't see me watching as many games this season if we keep letting our best players leave. At some point if the game in scotland is going to build up attendances the teams have to build on the talent they have year on year. Unfortunately that will only happen with investment. Exact same way its happening in England. We cant continue to just being a stepping stone or fans will lose faith.

Agreed, something has to change.
I’ve watched a few top flight games in England, and the standard of football is no better than the SWPL. Last season’s Hibs Ladies would have finished 4th behind Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City, if not better.
It is more competitive, but all the skill and guile comes from the imports, including the Scottish players.
Great move for the girls, but it weakens the domestic league.
