Didn’t they field an ineligible player against ICTFC in the league cup the season they got to the final against St Mirren (they must have won otherwise SJM would have a league cup winners medal) but they got away with that!

Can’t recall any real details, I’m sure someone can tell us all about it
Danny Wilson I think. Still banned from Liverpool days but they somehow got away with it.

Vert true but any statement with the opening "It is with much embarrassment" puts you right into the group stages of the statement league.
I bet Real Madrid put out a similar statement when it happened to them. Its only the big fish like Florentino Perez and Ann Budge who get embarrassed and put it in press statements. ' It is with massive mortification that I have to inform you that Malaury Martin is still on the payroll ' etc etc.

    Big Club Class.

The hearing isn’t until Monday, so Saturdays game will still go ahead
Budgie said “no further comment will be made” until after the hearing. Who would bet against a further statement before Monday? She’s lagging behind the hun at the moment. 😀

I would suggest that this can only have one outcome and that is a 3-0 victory for Cove!

I actually find this all very amusing and looks like something only a big team would do.

Big teams do have lots of players and is easy to lose track (amateurish at it’s very best)

I like the guy who claims that 'this happens to the biggest clubs', and then uses the example of Real Madrid.

So, apparently, in maroon world fielding ineligible players is a sign of the throbbing massiveness of a football club. Us hobos would not understand.
Throbbing massiveness of a football club is brilliant 😂👍, so very apt, deluded roasters, hope they get emptied

Ineligible to play for Hearts. I mean FFS, how do you become ineligible to play for a team with this showers recent history?

In addition, Spartans, East Stirling and Dunfermline have all been kicked out of the Scottish Cup in the last 10 years or so due to fielding ineligible players.

He picked up the ban during his time at Rangers which was never served. When he came back from Liverpool it seems he should by rights have served the ban with Hearts but the SFA came up with some murky explanation:

"Administrative error" aaaaaaaye right enough because hearts have a great reputation for their honesty and integrity!

    Cheating to beat COVE RANGERS

Hilarious- even funnier if they are kicked out and then they have to refund fans for the remaining games.

It was then off to the office of Ann Budge to see if the papers had been left there:

    Another gem from kickback:-

Think if it was knockout stage you'd be correct.. as it's in essence a "mini league" they Will treat it the same as a league fixture and award a 3-0 to Cove. Despite SFA being anti hearts.. they won't want the 3rd biggest club in the country out because of an admin error. Question is.. can we still get through .
Just there usual sense of entitlement and arrogance then. Oh and don't forget to throw in the victim card eh! They never change do they.

If it was the knock out stages I would agree but as it is the group stages the game should be awarded to Cove 3-0.

Let's wait and see what the powers that be do. The rules are the rules!!
