Ambulance on route. Cove player down after a bad head knock with considine. Police on the pitch called the ambulance saying he was uncoincious, doesnt look good at all.

BBC article on this says that he was conscious when he was moved in to the ambulance and taken to hospital, so hopefully he'll be alright. Fingers crossed for the boy.

Cove are a fantastic little club and just moved into a new stadium. Used to know the manager John Sheran who's a good lad.

Hope for the player and the club that it's not as bad as first feared and a full and speedy recovery is made.

Feel bad mentioning football, but it would be great if he could score a last minute winner against the Hertz on Wednesday.

It would be terrible if he played on Wednesday after being out cold for half an hour today. One thing football needs to up their game on is concussion injuries. Not always harmful there and then but can have dramatically horrendous results later in life.
