    Willo Flood.

Signs for Dunfermline last week, asks for contract to be terminated to play abroad. I’d be pretty pissed off of a Hibs player done this.

Not that different to what happened with us and Scott Bain really. If he has received a good offer he is right to take it at this stage of his career........

Hope it's not somewhere hot, he'd get a tan from the fridge light.

I hope his contract is terminated and his move abroad falls through. A nasty player.
    Every gimmick hungry yob,
Digging gold from rock and roll
Grabs the mic to tell us,
    He'll die before he's sold.

Don't think Willo Flood is the kind of player who cares much for fan opinion. He left Dundee Utd for Aberdeen.

But we got a player from it. Scott Allan is better than Bain as well Dunfermline are now without a player. Just find it odd, he clearly had his heart set on a move abroad So why sign for the pars in the first place. Dunfermline fans will be delighted no doubt.

Should have told him to get his new club to pay up or to pay up himself. Even if it was just 20k or so.

According to this article it seems that a release clause was written into his contract allowing for a move abroad - if true then there is nothing for the club to complain about as they agreed to it.

Doesn’t seem to have done anything wrong, although Dunfermline will be disappointed
They’ve got 1st option on him if/when he comes back

To be fair being a professional footballer seeing out your twilight years in Bali sounds absolutely perfect. You can buy proper luxury mansions over there for £400k, which, for a professional footballer is **** all.

You can't buy any property on Bali unless you're Indonesian. You get up to 20 year leases. It's a great place, and much nicer than Dunfermline!

Couldn’t imagine playing football or training there though. Doesn’t get much hotter than that.

Its totally different from the Scott Bain situation. I’m not sure how you can compare the two at all.

400k is definitely not "**** all" for most players in Scotland

Why? He joined us then got an alternative offer from a club which could offer something more (European football in Celtic's case, more money in the case of Flood). We can agree to differ but they have some similarities and I can't say that I would have done any differently than they did under their circumstances.....

I don’t think Bain asked for or tried to force the move. Hibs negotiated with Celtic and Dundee and we got Scott Allan out of it. No comparison at all. Do you think Bain forced the issue with Hibs? I haven’t seen anything that suggests that. That’s where the Flood comparison fails. In my opinion obviously.

Sméagle/Gollum has left the Kingdom for Mordor in search of his precious !!!

Like others before him he will be back sooner than he expects without the ring.
