    Faroese in Edinburgh?

On the basis that Faroese football crowds rarely exceed 500 - 900 in number I wondered what kind of away support we'll see on Thursday. Does anyone know if there is a sizeable Faroese diaspora in Edinburgh?

If anybody is coming over then I suppose they'll need to get sailing pretty soon.

Looking on their website & facebook page, it would seem they are having fans on a chartered flight arriving into Edinburgh in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

I will say a noisy bunch of around 30-40 fans

Numbers maybe bolstered by the usual yam contingent turning up to see a bit of football before their drudgery and stiff neck season at the halfbuiltarena kicks in.

Hope a lot of our Gorgie brethren attend but I suspect they will be too frightened to watch decent football played by the home team.

Bumped into a faraoese person a few months ago in Espionage.

First time I've met anyone from there.
