Very poor when you consider the team worked so hard to get into Europe & hardly anyone can be bothered turning up
Hardly , the sales are good with a week to go until the game, if we get 10000 that will be a decent crowd.

Still think we could get close on 12k - the last few European games at easter road in Europe were the same with strong sales on the last few days.

Everyone was desperate for Celtic to win the cup and give us the European place so hopefully they will back the team....

That’s not true though, I’m on holiday with my family. Three of us are season ticket holders and would be there if we could, it’s just not possible for a lot of people at this time of the year, it’s certainly not because they can’t be bothered.

That's a very poor comment when you have no idea of the reasons why people aren't going. I doubt it's "I can't be bothered" for the majority

Not a very good advert for those regularly shouting for summer football is it? Ditto the Hanlon testimonial sales 🤔

Agreed. Loads of threads about signing players too, more cash in the coffers the better

Would it not be better having this discussion after the game at least then we will know what the crowd was

I’ve got 4 non-supporting hibs mates coming along for the beer and it being a European game... two jambos, Celtic fan and a Dunfermline fan. One of the jambos actually has bought a season ticket for hibs and hearts this year 😂

Blimey, how can you manage that? A season tick at both Hibs and Hearts? Never heard of that in my life! 😂

That used to be fairly normal 50 or 60 years ago. Many fans would go to see whichever Edinburgh team was at home & some of the more well-heeled would have a season for both. Hibs & Hearts players were great friends in those days, Tam Preston & Dave Mackay were inseparable.

Well hopefully after watching 1 game at Easter Road he'll chuck the hearts one away realising we are Edinburgh's top team

Having a big party next week, but I'm worried it might get a little dull. Will you please come along to spice things up?

Partly due to the same problem as Hanlon's testimonial being in the most popular holiday fortnight of the year. Annoyingly this time the seeded team does not get the home leg 2nd as it was random.

Hibs in Europe doesn't come up often, surprised that so few people are coming even with the quality of the opposition.

I'm not sure why people are knocking our ticket sales. We had sold 7,500 2 days ago & not had an update since. When prices were announced there was a thread on here where many doomsters were saying we wouldn't sell 8,000. We'll sell 5 figures comfortably & I suspect, 12,000+. I know it's difficult for some posters but try the glass half full attitude, it can be enjoyable!
