I think Hopkins was the strength at Livvi. They might struggle with this appointment.

They seem some way above their usual altitude. I feel that KM will need to score the goals himself to keep them up.
Not an easy first job in management.

I had heard he was away to sign the deal today, with it being announced on Wednesday.

Good luck to him, hope he does well. Wouldn't have minded him here.

I wish we would sign him as a player coach. Still feel he has a lot to offer and would be a great option up front.

Is he a good coach?
Has Hopkin take a job elsewhere yet?

FWIW I think Hamilton are shoe ins to go down this season.
Do you think your security can keep you in purity, you will not shake us off above or below. Scottish friction, Scottish fiction

I think Livi will go straight back down. Hopkin seemed to work a minor miracle there. Now he's away it'll be tough. Smallest support in the league, huge step up, theres some good teams in the Premiership and the ones that aren't particularly good are streetwise. The likes of Hamilton know how to stay up. I think St Mirren will be ok but fear for Livi.

Seems a good move. He wants to coach and he's gone somewhere that needs one. And players. Hope it works out for him.
