Thought I'd check up on our favourite non-scoring striker to see how he's getting on. Turns out he's made rather a name for himself in League Two, averaging 18.5 goals per season since he left us. He's just helped Luton get promoted to League One. Oh well!
Rowan Vine, on the other hand.. 10 clubs (2.5 average per season) and a goal average of 7.25 per season. Still 7.25 more than he scored with us.

Worked his absolute socks off for us but never converted the chances into goals.
Not surprised he is raking in the goals, his workrate means goals would come, but it was always about finding his level.
Good luck to him, he put in the effort in a Hibs shirt. There's only one thing better than a Hibs calendar and that's two Hibs calendars

I never give a lot of those players much thought these days thankfully - love watching Hibs the last few seasons, and a higher quality of player than those from that period. I wish them no ill.

You don't score many goals making runs to the halfway line. He may have found his level now which is a couple of notches below what we need

i liked james collins, his workrate was excellent, i felt sorry for him having to run about up front with hardly any support, tho he did miss a sitter against(i think it was) the sparryheids at ER at the FF end, jason cummings also had to play the roll up front all alone having to come back to midfield a lot just to get a touch of the ball

I'm pretty sure he missed a sitter in 3 derbies that season
First one at Tynie he had a free shot about 18 yards out and missed, new year derby he missed a sitter at the back post to make it 3 and that one where he completely missed the ball but nearly scored a screamer right at the end

Can't fault Collins effort. He never hid unlike some. Didn't work out for him at Hibs but good luck to him

Good interview with him on MNF where he held no grudges and said he still checks our score. Decent chap just didn't work out.
