Just trying to get my head around how much of a game changer this could be...
So I'm guessing it's an additional 20,000 for each qualifying round, rather than an additional 260,000 say for getting through the first qualifying round?
- Preliminary round: 220,000
- First qualifying round: 240,000
- Second qualifying round: 260,000
- Third qualifying round: 280,000
- Play-off round elimination: 300,000
- Base fee for group stage: 2,920,000
- Group match victory: 570,000
- Group match draw: 190,000
- Group winners: 1,000,000
- Group runners-up: 500,000
- Round of 32: 500,000
- Round of 16: 1,100,000
- Quarter-finals: 1,500,000
- Semi-finals: 2,400,000
- Losing finalist: 4,500,000
- Winners: 8,500,000

I think you just get the extra 20k or so. Wouldn't be fair if you come in at round 2 if it was cumulative, but I don't know for sure.

1st round we get 220,000 Euros and if we beat the Faroes team we get another 240,000, and so on

The prize money is based on what stage a team reaches, which is not the same as getting the published prize money each time a team played in a particular round.
Up to the league stages each team is paid an amount depending on what stage they reach. Out in prelim round 240k, out at play off stage 300k.
Then, if you get to the group stages there's a guaranteed minimum of 2.9m + prize money for winning/drawing group matches.
Its cumulative!

If thats the case, not so lucrative winning round 1, if you were to go out in round 2

What is more, clubs participating in the qualifying rounds will be entitled to a respective payment of 215,000 for the first qualifying round), 225,000 (second), 235,000 (third) and 245,000 (play-off). Note, however, that the play-off winners will not receive the solidarity payment from that specific round.
The amount you get depends on what round of qualifying team gets to not payable each roundLast edited by Tynie01011973; 24-06-2018 at 03:40 PM.

Its game changing money for us if we can get to the group stages. Its clear that the ambition of the club is to achieve this regularly. Lets hope its starting this season.
Could do with a couple of signings this week though.

S then doesnt make a massive difference whether we go out in the first qualifying round or the third.... but the difference between 3rd qualifying round and group stage is huge!

Its a confusing read.It seems ridiculous that a club will make more money entering at round one than round two. That surely cannot be right.

The travel and accommodation costs will take a huge chunk out of any money received.

It's a payment for each round.
Yes, it's unfair on the likes of Aberdeen. We might get more than them. But when it's going to cost us upwards of 50k for the Faroes games, and considerably more if we have to go to Greece, it does make sense.

Newly released figures show the duo [Sevco and St Js] made 215,000 - that's £195,789 - from their disappointing campaigns on the Continent.
Aberdeen fared only slightly better by reaching the third qualifying round before crashing to Apollon Limassol. That came after the Dons defeated Siroki Brijeg of Bosnia and earned them 460,000 - or £418,899.

This article is much better. Actually says "per round played"
Potentially quite lucrative then!

I've done them on this years amounts per round vs last years total prize money. Hadn't appreciated that the article someone posted earlier was a year out of date

Barring a disaster in the Faroes we are looking at 500k minimum.
