Going along today for the Sunday sessions. Is there local parking or are we better using the park and ride. Not been since I was at school.

You can get parked easily on the streets - i reckon the furthest you’d be from the entrance would be a mile.

There is parking at the event. You enter at Kings Gate near Sherriffhall Rndabout or you could do park and ride from Danderhall. Seemingly Dalkeith is pretty much coned off on the main streets but i reckon you'll get parked in Shadepark somewhere which is a short walk to the entrance - look up Shadepark Crescent.

Cheers all, looks like the park & ride drops off at the High street and you walk from there. Will look up some of the suggestions.

No chance Shade Park. Yesterday's event filled the area.
Plenty parking in the park, entrance at King's Gate. I live nearby and the traffic yesterday was well managed

There is parking but I wouldn't bother, will take ages trying to find it and to get in and out. Park and ride is your best option, the bus service is excellent and you are not far from the park - 33 and 49. Going myself and really looking forward to it.

Just as an addition, even walking from the park and rise won't take that long - less than a mile.
